Miriam Spero

Miriam joined Macleish Littlestone Cowan in May 2011 having worked at
several other London firms. Miriam is a member of the Society of Trust
and Estate Practitioners and is an associate member of Solicitors for
the Elderly and a member of the Law Society Private Client Section. She
also has experience in intellectual property law, litigation and
conveyancing.


Miriam advises in Estate Planning Advice, drafting of Wills, Probate in
the Administration of Estates, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of
Protection work and has managed a number of Deputyship matters.


Miriam works between the Barking, Snaresbrook and Sawbridgeworth offices
and provides home and hospital visits at client request. She delivers
talks on the importance of considering making a will and Lasting Powers
of Attorney and the impact of dying intestate or losing mental capacity
so that members of the public can make an informed choice.


Outside the office Miriam is a member of the Art Fund and the Scotch
Malt Whisky Society and is a regular theatre goer. She is a keen cook
and gardener and has recently taken up beekeeping.
